Consulting
WWhether your project is at its inception or you’ve reached several milestones along the way, we have the professionals and resources available to ensure the success of your endeavor.
Among our services in exploration, we offer mine scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, along with mining production capability assessments.
After your project is underway, we provide production and development scheduling and estimations of both manpower requirements and management needs.
Our engineering and logistical experts will work with you to engineer your project’s infrastructure design, assess your logistical requirements for land, rail or marine transportation, and assist with equipment procurement.
Project Development
IIn project development, FCCS is prepared to take a small dream from the first stages of acquiring financial backing through to the transport of products to market.
We undertake explorations and quantifiable studies as to the feasibility of a new project, and if our findings show positive results, we guide our clients through the funding stage. Our familiarity with the local investment markets allows us to structure projects properly to raise preliminary capital.
We find we are also in an advantageous position in negotiating contracts, while our sterling reputation continues to bring new business to our doors. Two of our projects have, in fact, exceeded expectations in production volume.
Trading
BBeyond project development and logistics, FCCS also participates in trading opportunities with a variety of materials. Some of these opportunities are related to our other projects, while others come to us independently. Among the items traded are copper cathodes and ingots, stainless steel cathodes, iron ore tailings, and lead billets. We have also traded such materials as titanium rods and tubing, heavy-industry wheel carcasses, and remnants of grinding balls and grinding cones.
General Contracting
FFCCS has the capability to act as the general contractor on all our projects. We work with and manage all vendors and provide the oversight of project management on many levels.
Our professionals handle such issues as site preparation including excavation, on-site roadway planning and construction, septic tank preparation and installation, and the construction of drainage systems and canals. Before your project is operational, we arrange for iron crushing and concentration services to be ready when you need them.
Logistics & Transportation
WWith 18 years of solid experience, we rate logistics among our core competencies. Our extensive network of shipping partners means we can coordinate and execute the movement of cargo, including project-related cargo, from anywhere in the world to its final destination.
Assessments of accessibility and feasibility for ground transport in many locations around the globe are just part of our unique set of skills. We also set up charters for ocean-going vessels and air transportation.
We can solve even the most difficult transportation problems.
Sourcing
WWhen you need it now but you can’t find it, FCCS can help. Our professionals take on the sometimes difficult, if not seemingly impossible, task of locating the products or raw materials you require at an acceptable price. We use our extensive knowledge of foreign trade policies, including U.S. customs laws and regulations, logistics, and mining and manufacturing technologies to guide you in acquiring the materials you need.
Once we have located your materials, our experience in logistics allows us to determine the best pricing at every step of the acquisition process, including local transportation from the point of origin to the port city, documentation of the cargo at the shipping port, overseas transportation, documentation at the destination port, any duties or Value Added Tax, customs clearing charges, and delivery to your door. We can also provide pricing for any additional steps in the process that your unique situation may require.
